His coaching career began as an assistant at Pontiac High School in 2017 before becoming the Safeties Coach at Brother Rice High School. During his time at Brother Rice, he served in several roles, such as; Defensive Backs Coach, Safeties Coach, and JV Offensive Coordinator. In his time at Rice he was able to win a JV Catholic Championship, as well as two district championships.

Seay then went on to Orchard Lake St. Mary's where he spent three years. In those three seasons, he served as the Junior Varsity Head Coach, Safeties Coach, and Wide Receivers Coach. In his final season at St. Mary's. He helped lead the 2024 team to a D2 State Championship as the Wide Receiver Coach and Director of Player Relations, before taking over at Waterford Mott High School in 2025.

During his first season at Waterford Mott he led his team to a 6-3 record and Division 2 playoff birth. His team finished with, 1 dream team player, 2 all state recognitions, and 6 all region recognitions. In year one, Coach Seay and his staff were able to help 8 student athletes earn scholarships to play collegiate sports.

In his coaching career, Coach Seay has been apart of 2 state championships (2024 D2 Football, 2023 D1 Basketball), 3 regional championships, 9 district championships. He has also helped more than 65 athletes reach the next level across all levels of collegiate sports, and currently has coached 3 professional football players.
