Waterford Mott High School – Running Backs Coach (2025–Present)

Coach Johnson is in his second year at Waterford Mott High School, bringing a well-rounded background and strong defensive foundation to the coaching staff. After serving as the junior varsity defensive coordinator and linebackers coach, he transitions to the varsity level as the team’s running backs coach.

Johnson played collegiately at Western Michigan University, where he began his career as a walk-on before earning an athletic scholarship. His experience and perseverance as a player provide valuable perspective and credibility in his coaching approach.

Known for his work ethic and attention to detail, Coach Johnson emphasizes discipline, fundamentals, and player development, while building strong relationships with his athletes on and off the field.
