Coach Woods began his coaching career at Brother Rice High School, where he served as the Junior Varsity Offensive Coordinator. During his time at Brother Rice, he was part of a highly successful program and contributed to a winning culture built on discipline and execution. Coach Woods was a back to back CHSL JV Champion coach.

He then moved on to Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, where he continued as the JV Offensive Coordinator, further developing his offensive philosophy and leadership style.

In 2025, Coach Woods joined the staff at Waterford Mott High School as the Wide Receivers Coach before being promoted to Offensive Coordinator in 2026, where he continues to lead the passing game and wide receiver development.

Coach Woods is known for his high energy and passion for the game, consistently pushing his players to reach their full potential. A three-time state champion at Brother Rice, he understands what it takes to win at a high level, having played under legendary head coach Albert Fracassa.

Following his playing career, Coach Woods attended Saginaw Valley State University, where he played wide receiver before transitioning into coaching and sharing his knowledge with the next generation of athletes.
